There are a bunch of ways to boost your PC components and get the best performance you can get such as: Getting the MAXIMUM performance out of your GPU/CPU Viruses and malicious files It's VERY important to check if you have malicious files installed on your PC.These files are usually fake anti-viruses that use up to 100% cpu usage which affects the framerate.To get rid off viruses make sure to use OFFICIAL anti-viruses such as Avast,Mcaffe,Malwarebytes.ALWAYS install these from the real websites and not sites which flash ''DOWNLOAD''(keep in mind that some of these aren't free). In Payday 2 there are quite a few heists that aren't properly optimizated for low-end pcs.Such as Scarface Mansion,Hotline Miami.If you notice that you are getting lower FPS on some heists this should be usefull to know.
Now that's it 2017 I felt like it was time to update the guide to getting higher FPS as a bunch of things have changed.Keep in mind that some of these methods(obviously) will affect the look of the game and playing on lower resolutions may affect your gameplay.With all this said,let's get started!
